Mazor Therapeutic Promenade Acre, 2019

ABOUT

Video:

In 2017, Ram Eisenberg and Yael Sofer led at the Technion a design Studio named ‘Landscape architecture as a therapeutic profession, and design grounded in first-hand experience’. The video clip explores the experiences of the studio’s participants.

Project:

The promenade and adjacent garden are located in Acre, in the north of Israel, on the grounds of Mazor psychiatric clinic and hospital. The design aspires to facilitate amongst clients and staff - together or in solitude - experiences of wonder, curiosity and well-being, inspired by the Mediterranean Sea, situated just beyond the boundaries of the hospital.
